We are currently seeking a CCWIS Testing Manager to join our team in Washington DC, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Overview of job:
The CCWIS Testing Manager will work with the project team to fully understand the test cases and the requirements they represent. The CCWIS Testing Manager will work collaboratively with the client in creating the test management plan, leading the development and execution of test scripts, tracking and reporting testing issues / defects, and any other items. The CCWIS Testing Manager will oversee the process for all testing and evaluation of project initiatives and identify issues in software or services. He/she will analyze discrepancies in service or performance and make recommendations for product or service updates. The CCWIS Testing Manager will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and oversee all testing efforts. He/she will ensure software testing is done on-time and as planned and notify management about bottlenecks and other issues and risks.

Job Responsibilities Include:• Planning and directing all QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including training, and directing DHR staff during UAT.• Oversight for the quality of test scripts, plans, and automated test tools• Evaluating and monitoring data load testing and data storage/archival procedures and results • Ensuring that the DDI Contractors have procedures for tracking and correcting deficiencies discovered during testing • Supporting status reporting requirements and timelines• Communicate project status, risks and issues to the client and the Client Partner• Participate in project steering committee meetings, status meetings, and other stakeholder meetings as needed to discuss project status, reports, and recommendations

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience
• Minimum 6 years of testing or business analyst experience including:• Minimum 3 years of experience with successful monitoring and management of testing for large, complex systems• Minimum 2 years of experience using automated test tools and techniques• Minimum 1 year Child Welfare Experience

Preferred Skills:• Ability to analyze and resolve difficult logic and processing issues • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write meaningful reports and plans• Ability to communicate difficult concepts to technical and non-technical staff • Experience in dealing with a diverse set of people and ideas and demonstrating a spirit of openness, adaptability, and willingness to work toward compromise when needed (preferred)• Must be a team player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills• Strong interpersonal skills to build client rapport and develop/discipline/reward employees• Ability to handle ambiguity and change
