Why this role is exciting!

Partnerships are at the heart of impact.com - not just enabling thousands of brands to develop their own partnerships, but making sure we are a leading partner in our own right. The impact.com Agency Partnerships team works with hundreds of agencies to source new business and to ensure impact.com clients are supported by a full ecosystem. The team is cross-organizational in nature, working closely with sales, product, success, marketing, legal, and more.

Channel Partner Associates are responsible for prospecting and discovering new agency partners for impact.com, setting up conversations with those agencies, and helping turn them into long-term partners. Channel Partner Associates set up conversations with new agencies for Channel Partner Managers, and work closely with those managers to develop the relationships. The ideal candidate is energetic, curious, tenacious, highly motivated, organized, and a natural networker. You’re not afraid of goals, and thrive when talking to people, selling them things you believe in. You should be tech-savvy, and comfortable explaining complex concepts.

What you will be doing:

  • Diving deep and learning the ins and outs of partnership marketing - one of the fastest growing marketing channels in the world - and of impact.com - the world’s leading partnership platform.
  • Researching, profiling, and blueprinting new potential agency channel partners. You’ll put your detective hat on and research everything you can about potential partners to maximize your chances of success in creating new partnerships.
  • Reaching out to potential partners to create new conversations and partnership opportunities for our Channel Partner Managers through a combination social selling, email campaigns, cold calling, events, and more. This requires a mix of perseverance and creativity.
  • Educating and qualifying potential partners about our industry and transformative technology.
  • Working closely with Channel Partner Managers to build a pipeline of new partners
  • Tracking and managing partners through Salesforce
  • Participating in team meetings, networking, trade show events and activities to grow the business
  • Providing valuable market and product feedback to continue to drive Impact’s partner development strategy

  • An exceptional communicator - written and verbal; you put time and energy into your communications and enjoy speaking with people.
  • Detail-oriented and organized; you’re capable of managing a large number of concurrent tasks without dropping balls.
  • A natural networker; you thrive on talking to people, forging connections, and selling things you believe in.
  • A tenacious optimist; you’re not demoralized by setbacks or “no’s” and are always looking for the next opportunity.
  • You’re inherently curious - excited by things you don’t understand, new technologies, markets, strategies, and more.
  • You’re an energetic self-starter, and are hungry - for wins, for growth, for success, for knowledge.
  • You’re tech-savvy, comfortable with creating presentations, scheduling meetings, using social media, quick to adopt new technology etc.

Salary range: $91,000 - $104,000 per year in potential OTE, plus eligible to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant and additional variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance.
