PRIMARY PURPOSE:

It is the primary responsibility of the Channel Ticketing Specialist to accurately maintain all aspects of the Archtics/Ticketmaster event programming. Supports the property box offices and show partners with their programming in a timely and courteous manner.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and monitor the size of ticket blocks, ticket prices, and the inventory of all ticket outlets
  • Maintain functionality, content, marketing promotions on all property websites
  • Monitor functionality of systems and interfaces for all ticketing operations and advise management
  • Conduct random shops of all channels to ensure rate integrity and competitive set as required
  • Monitor available inventory and advise management of potential revenue opportunities, and recommended allocation changes
  • Assist in development, daily preparation, and communication of all managerial reports used for tracking, analysis, and monitoring of ticketing
  • Perform event programming: Event building, ticket types, hold classes, ticket templates, confirmation templates, service fees, promotion and wholesaler inventory, allocations and creation of internet links
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of experience within the Hospitality Industry with Archtics and/or related programs
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Able to lead and mentor a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
