Nokia is looking for a CNF/CHF Application Engineer that will work on the NCC Charging product. The candidate must have expert knowledge of the charging domain including use cases, routing, and configuration.

Nokia is looking for a CNF/CHF Application Engineer that will work on the NCC Charging product. The candidate must have expert knowledge of the charging domain including use cases, routing, and configuration.

As part of our team, you will:
- Use your knowledge of the charging domain to work as part of the development team to drive the product through the different phases of the development process.
- Work with Product Owners to define use cases and test cases for features.
- Work with developers to implement the features using cloud native design principles.
- Create automated test cases using Robot for testing features.
Your skills and experience
You have:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 7+ Years of development experience with an emphasis on the charging domain.
- Must have in-depth business knowledge of the charging telecom domain, use cases and networking standards.
- Knowledge of NFV/ETSI model.
- Knowledge of containers, micro services, and kubernetes
- Scripting knowledge in Shell or python
- Knowledge of DevOps tools: any IDE, Git, Gerrit, Jira, etc
- R&D Experience using Agile methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of configuration tools like Ansible.
- Usage and detailed knowledge of Linux basic and advanced set of commands.
- Use advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems or problems that do not have routine solutions and takes a new perspective.
- Ability to create E-E Test Strategies, Automation Strategies, DevOps / CI-CD Strategies and able to execute and implement the them using Test Automation (ROBOT tool, Selenium).
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledge of LDAP (X.500) and Tools like Wireshark, etc are added advantage
- Should have worked on VNFM, CSAR package creation like vnfd, HOT and mistral.
- Should have working experience on Cloud computing mainly on Openstack/VMware. Knowledge of Virtualization, Hypervisor, VM structure, etc.
- Knowledge of Linux OS distribution (especially Redhat/CentOS etc)
- Acts as a professional advisor and mentor for staff / workteam / taskforces
- Self-starter able to make progress with minimal supervision
- Good Communication Skills and Presentation Skills
- Strong leadership skills
