Job summary

ESET is recruiting an enthusiastic software engineer to be a member of our CI/CD Infrastructure team in Bratislava office. This specialist will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving CI/CD solution for testing our products.

Job description

You responsibilities will be to:

• collaborate with team members to plan and develop CI/CD
  pipelines

• identify and track defects within CI/CD solution

• cooperate in definition of requirements, stories and acceptance criteria

• identify scenarios for automation

• prepare documentation for CI/CD solution

• actively participate in team activities such as planning and retrospectives 

What do we expect?

• a passion for software development, willing to help others and focused on team success

• experience with one or more scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.)

• knowledge of version control systems (Git, etc.)

• experience with preparing and configuration test environments using VMware (Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS & Android, basic database administration, etc.)

• ​familiarity with one or more continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Buildbot, TeamCity etc.)

• familiarity with containerization technology (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

• familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)

• practical experience in the software development field or software testing field

It is not required but awesome if you have:

• network infrastructure knowledge

• knowledge and/or experience with Linux OS or macOS

• knowledge and experience with automation framework (Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.)

• knowledge and/or experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.)

• knowledge and/or experience with web technologies (React, Node.js, Flask)

Basic wage component (brutto): from 2 100 EUR /month

Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).

*The final basic wage component can be higher accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate
