What You'll Get to Do
Role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our Cisco Voice environment. A typical day would consist of working through any morning tickets or ongoing issues in support of our corporate-wide Voice environment, monitoring the environment, servers, and call centers for health and operational issues, and correcting any potential issues. During the day this role will work with our other Voice Engineers managing various tickets across the CACI environment, participate in project work, assist in setting and maintaining Voice and Video standards, and wrap up the day ensuring our systems are operational in support of any corporate evening activities.
More About the Role
Primary responsibilities include management and maintenance of our CACI-wide Cisco Voice environment, including the support of individual physical phones, Jabber softphones, Voice servers, configurations/operations, Contact Center configuration/operation, Gateways, Expressways, and any associated ancillary hardware/software. Responsibilities also include assisting in design, engineering, and architecture of existing and future systems.
Secondary responsibilities include management of Voice-related ServiceNow tickets for various locations, assisting vendors with problem identification and resolution, and closing tickets according to SLA.
You'll Bring These Qualifications
Qualifications should include 5-7 years working in a SIP environment, including required experience with Cisco hardware and software, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and WebEx and Zoom software clients for individual use.
Strong ability to work independently and quickly resolve issues in a highly visible position. Strong understanding of when to call other team members to assist in problem resolution.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Additional experience with Cisco voice environments, Soft-phone systems, VMWare, CX-One, strong operating system knowledge, etc.
