Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently. Responsibilities • Perform general custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. • Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain high standards of cleanliness. • Buff and polish floors as needed to ensure they are in excellent condition. • Execute commercial cleaning tasks in offices, restrooms, and common areas. • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes effectively. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages. • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. • Provide environmental services that contribute to the overall hygiene of the facility. Experience • Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required. • Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus. • Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and environmental services is beneficial. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
