Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:

• You understand the nuances of different cloud solutions (hybrid public private multi-cloud on-prem) and their implications for solution design
• You understand the relationship among various technologies and architectures and how they contribute to the overall solution.
• You have a deep understanding of complex large-scale multi-region solutions which utilize multiple independent life cycle microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Engineer -Security in IBM Client Engineering is a part of a cross-functional team that delivers a unique client co-creation experience to accelerate client transformation.
• Works with the IBM Client Engineering team Sales and other internal teams to identify and qualify business opportunities understand customer technical and compliance objections and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
• Acts as a technology advocate to Client CISO to ensure security and compliance requirements are integrated into Minimum Viable Solutions (MVP/MVS).
• Hands-on expertise with security practices across infrastructure applications and networks. Assists clients in solving challenges and finding the proper balance between enabling and securing in relation to the client’s organization and ecosystem.
• A thought leader in security technologies including Cloud Security SASE Zero Trust DevSecOps Data Protection Threat Management (SIEM SOAR EDR etc.)
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge on and work with all IBM security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in the customer tech-zone environments.
• Support Security opportunities and relationships by being responsible for technical aspects of solutions including delivering technical presentations product and solution briefings conducting security design-thinking workshops proofs-of-concepts and demos to customers as required.
• Cloud Security certifications preferred.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong understanding of data security principles encryption techniques and network security concepts.
• Proven knowledge of Database Activity Monitoring.
• Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
• Programming or scripting knowledge can be beneficial.
• Deep skills on cloud service offerings.
• Experience with cryptographic techniques.
• Proven experience in AI and cybersecurity.
• Good Understanding of various kind of databases.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 7 years of relevant experience and 2 years of client facing experience – strong collaborative client relationships
• Deep understanding of Database Security Principles Data Activity Monitoring.
• Demonstratable experience in DAM
