As a Client Executive you will lead WWT sales efforts with Named Higher Education accounts in Missouri. Armed with the expertise of our sales engineering team, you'll build and nurture relationships with our customer leaders, identify gaps within the customers technical environment and deliver state of the art solutions in areas such as Infrastructure Modernization, Multicloud Architecture, Security Transformation and Digital Strategy. What will you be doing?

The Named Client Executive will sell broad technical services, solutions and products to our customers within the local market. Day to day responsibilities will include building meaningful relationships within a territory, leading customer sales meetings and presentations, and bringing customer requests to the WWT technical teams for scoping. The Client Executive will team with local Engineers and Architects, as well as experts to truly provide expertise and value. The ability to listen, learn and understand broad technical solutions is required as you look to provide value to our customers on cutting edge technologies. This position will require the ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities:

  • Position WWT capabilities and service offerings with client business and technology objectives.
  • Acts in a consultative fashion and is regarded by the customers and partners (OEMs).
  • Effective at working with cross functional teams to develop business relevant solutions for our customers and partners.
  • Develop and execute account strategy.
  • Lead a high performance team of inside sales, technology specialists, and consultants.
  • Create and drive sales campaigns from discovery to close.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-making leaders at targeted clients.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities and forecast accurately.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a successful track record in Higher Education Sales.
  • Candidates must have existing and successful Higher Education relationships in Missouri and direct account experience within the assigned territory.
  • 7+ years Account Management experience.
  • Executive level customer experience and current relationships are essential for success.
  • Experience with consultative services sales approach and/or disruptive technology is highly desired.
  • A recent understanding of the Higher Education technical challenges and account complexities within the specific territory.
  • Strong consultative services sales experience is highly desired.
  • Understanding the diverse selling motions of Higher Education, including contracts and programs and an ability to creatively identify traditional and non-traditional paths to market.
  • Ideal experience includes sales of technology focused on Network, Collaboration, Security, Data and AI, Data Centers and Cloud.
  • Strong skills in developing new relationships with customers and the ability to interpret clients' technical challenge and develop the appropriate solution.
  • Critical skills necessary are account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within the customer's organization, and managing partner relationships.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
  • Reside in St. Louis Metro Area.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
