Essential FunctionsThis opportunity is a remote role.
The SEO Lead is a high-performing individual contributor who creates and guides the creation of a Technical strategy to achieve OKRs, exceeds client expectations, and promotes ongoing craft development.
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Tech, this person will create a customized Technical strategy for the account and oversee its performance for the duration of the program.

- Consults and leads the execution of technical SEO strategies in alignment with the SEO Director for Fortune 500 Brands
- Serves as the technical client-facing lead to effectively communicate the opportunity for, and value of, website changes, updates, and performance recommendations
- Contributes to the thought leadership of accounts and suggests improvements and/or adjustments to the current technical strategy to the SEO Director
- Collaborates and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer objectives are met
- Serves as a technical SEO coach/ mentor to (Sr.) SEO Analyst(s) on account teams by explaining the why behind the defined technical strategy of accounts
- Reviews final outputs from the (Sr.) SEO Analyst(s) on projects and develops related recommendations to ensure deliverables are client-facing ready
- Examples of projects include sitewide analysis, advanced site structure, and performance recommendations (including information architecture, navigation, design, conversion, etc.)
- Coordinates with (Sr.) SEO Analyst(s) to prepare and deliver presentations or ad hoc reports to customers on the following:
- Data-driven insights, technical findings and recommendations, and industry research.
- Competitive and market opportunity analyses as they relate to search intent, competitor niche saturation, backlink profiles, and SERP anomalies.

- Bachelor’s degree required - Concentration in Marketing or a related field is preferable
- 3-4 years of professional work experience in a related role with exposure to how marketing campaigns impact natural search visibility
- Proven ability to present in group settings and directly to any/all levels of an organization
- Keen attention to detail is essential to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency when assessing client outputs by team members
- Experience identifying key performance indicators and success metrics given knowledge and understanding of client-specific business goals
- Experience deriving technical insight from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and directly from SERPs
- Knowledge of technical, usability, and content-related aspects of a website and their impact on search
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, such as the ability to mentor and develop junior team members
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this role is $91,000 to $138,000. *This salary range is based off of the market pay for all of the United States; Terakeet applies a multiplier to this range based upon the specific geographic location of a job candidate*
