Clinic and On-Call OB/GYN

As an Ob Hospitalist Group Clinic and On-Call OB/GYN, you will care for the assigned obstetrics and gynecology patients who visit women’s clinics within or connected to our partner hospitals and may also oversee a Certified-Nurse Midwife and/or Nurse Practitioner.

This role includes on-call duty on weeknights and weekends. You will not be required to stay on hospital premises when on call but will need to be within a 30-minute drive of the facility. Lodging will be provided, or OBHG will cover lodging costs.

Jackson County Memorial Hospital's Women’s Center focuses on patient-centered care, offering comfortable LDRP rooms and promoting self-care and rooming-in for bonding with newborns. The hospital uses the innovative TeamBirth approach, a collaboration with Ariadne Labs, to improve communication and shared decision-making during childbirth, prioritizing patient autonomy and safety. This process enhances trust and teamwork among patients and healthcare providers, transforming childbirth care in Oklahoma. Additionally, JCMH has earned National Safe Sleep Hospital Bronze Certification, providing education on safe sleep practices and free Halo Sleep Sacks for new mothers. The Women’s Center remains committed to excellent care and continually improving maternal and infant health services. Jackson County Memorial Hospital currently sees approximately 420 annual deliveries.
