Job Description
Saint Louis University is seeking a Clinical Nephrologist to join its faculty. This role offers the opportunity to practice general nephrology while contributing to the education and mentorship of medical trainees in a collaborative academic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide state-of-the-art general nephrology care, including:
- Serving as attending physician on inpatient nephrology consult teams in the high-acuity SSM-SLUH hospital
- Caring for patients with kidney disease in the Nephrology outpatient clinic in the Center for Specialized Medicine
- Supervising the care of chronic dialysis patients in outpatient dialysis centers.
- Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in academic and clinical initiatives within the department
Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible in Nephrology
- Open to candidates of all experience levels, including newly graduating fellows
- Active Missouri medical license or eligibility to obtain one
