Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Clinical Analyst to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of our Clinical operations by analyzing clinical data and improving systems related to medical records. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. The candidate must be aRegistered Nurse, licensed in Illinois.
Responsibilities
• Analyze clinical data and generate reports to support decision-making processes within the medical office.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve workflows and optimize the use of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of clinical information systems, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and best practices.
• Train staff on the effective use of medical record systems and provide ongoing support as needed.
• Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in medical technology that may impact clinical operations.
Skills
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate IT solutions into clinical workflows, enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support and training to clinical staff on the use of electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare information systems.
• Analyze data and generate reports to support clinical decision-making and optimize healthcare delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health information privacy regulations, such as HIPAA, through the secure handling of patient data.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new digital tools and technologies to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical information systems and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Act as a liaison between IT departments and clinical teams to facilitate communication and ensure technology meets clinical needs.
• Participate in the development of IT policies and procedures that support clinical best practices and patient safety.
• Learn to advance capacity, the hospital's EMR system.
• Ability to manipulate and create order codes for Nurse orders and Physicians Orders.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree Minimum, Bachelors preferred.
- RN LicenseRequired
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $44.11 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
