Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience architecting and leading data engineering, data warehousing, dimensional modeling and business intelligence.
- 6 years of experience in software development with Python.
- 6 years of experience in data processing using traditional and distributed systems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Dataflow, Airflow).
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in Spain.
- Experience in advanced SQL tuning for cost and performance.
- Experience in building data streaming processing pipelines and understanding of event delivery semantics.
- Experience architecting, developing software, or internet scale production Data solutions on public Cloud manage services.
- Experience collaborating with data scientists, data analysts, and software engineers to understand data needs and deliver solutions accordingly.
- Experience implementing data governance and security policies to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Provide domain expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing data infrastructure to support analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Work with customers to design and implement data platforms for enterprise, with robust data streaming and batch pipelines, cloud based technical architectures and data migration approaches that enable business objectives.
- Be a technical advisor and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for customers.
- Create and deliver practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.
- Travel up to 30% for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities as needed.
