Job Summary

Responsible for leading collaborative groups to find innovative solutions to drive business value, mentors team resources and cross functional peers. Expected to formulate and implement changes to OneAmerica's frameworks to meet changing business objectives. Responsible for the management of OneAmerica IT Cloud and plays a key role in the implementation of Infrastructure strategy and continued stability of all resources. Provides technical cloud consultation as needed for work efforts. The Engineer will be assigned to complex projects that require a great deal of detail for successful implementation and oversight.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participating in requirements and design workshops with our stakeholders
• Designing and deploying Azure offerings leveraging IaC techniques using Terraform and Ansible
• Designing and deploying Cloud foundation connectivity ensuring proper DR and Security provisioning
• Working closely with Enterprise and Solutions architects to deliver Cloud solutions to design
• Providing thought leadership to drive the best solutions to meet OneAmerica needs
• Developing project deliverable documentation
• Working solo or as part of a team for application centered solutions
• Reporting on assigned tasks
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define future application roadmaps
• In the spirit of continuous improvement, challenge the status quo and challenge others to rethink current processes, structures, policies, methodologies, and assumptions

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

• Bachelor's degree (BS, BA), Computer Technology, related technical discipline, or equivalent 10 years' professional technical experience
• Master's in business administration or a Computer Technology / Engineering field given additional consideration

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

• Cloud training and/or certifications
• Infrastructure related certifications
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification along with other technical certifications given additional consideration

Required Work Experience

• 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
• 3+ years' experience in a Cloud Engineering or Architecture role
• 2+ years' experience with cloud, focusing on networking, infrastructure management concepts and tools
• Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 06C

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in IN as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
