Cloud Intern

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cloud Intern. You will work among a team of industry experts within our Digital Modernization sector support the Defense Information Systems Agency in modernizing and consolidation the Defense Agencies and Field Activities Network. As a Cloud Intern, you will work closely with our team of Cloud Architects to learn and gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, including cloud architecture, cloud migration, and cloud operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with cloud migration and cloud deployment projects
• Learn and utilize cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Work with the Cloud team to design and implement cloud architectures
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues
• Assist with automation and scripting tasks related to cloud operations
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress
• Continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
• Assist with other tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of networking and security concepts
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Familiarity with cloud migration and deployment processes
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies such as Scrum
• US citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Pay Range:

Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
