Gas South Commercial Acquisition Specialist’s work in a fast-paced, challenging, and competitive environment. A Commercial Acquisition Specialist is always looking to connect with commercial companies and provide solutions for their natural gas needs. As a Gas South Commercial Acquisition Specialist, you would play a critical role in generating new revenue, providing an amazing customer experience and take an active role in strategy sessions to improve sales performance. You will also need to be able to determine the customer’s needs and weigh competitive information to enable you to provide them guidance in choosing the best product for them to win their business and build loyalty. You will provide great service to customers and support the team in its effort to build customer relationships. Â

- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, management, or a related field in preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Strong communication skills and presentation skills
- Strong focus on the metrics that drive the business
- Negotiating and mediating skills
- An understating of marketing, sales, rates, and billing is required
- Experience in the natural gas marketing or energy market is preferred
- Excellent PC skills in Microsoft applications
- Experience in Salesforce is preferred
- Bilingual skills in Spanish, Korean, Mandarin and Hindi are preferredÂ
More details on what you would be responsible for:
- Creates pricing opportunities to achieve assigned sales margin and other goals.
- Develops and maintains relationships with prospective and current customers.
- Ensure deals and contracts are processed through appropriate channels.
- Enters and updates customer information in the CRM system.
- Gathers all necessary information from customers to support the credit approval process.
- Informs current and prospective customers of promotions and new/upgraded products.
- Manages time and appointments in an appropriate and effective manner
- Obtains customer usage profiles to ensure accurate pricing
- Prepares and provides savings proposals to potential customers
- Processes online commercial new and renewal service contracts
- Prospects new commercial customers
- Resolves issues related to pricing, contracting, billing and service through effective communication
- Sells energy products to commercial and industrial customers through verbal and written contracts Utilizes lead generation techniques and methods
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Â Ability to meet and maintain a minimal annual margin of $4000 and a total margin of $12,000
