Job Description

Location: Dallas, TX Pay: $185k-$225k base + bonuses We are an established commercial roofing contractor in the market looking to bring on a top tier commercial roofing leader. Overview: As a Commercial Roofing Business Unit President, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of roofing operations within a designated location. Your role will involve managing a team of roofing professionals, ensuring high-quality workmanship, fostering client relationships, and driving business growth. You will play a pivotal role in achieving company objectives while upholding safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of roofing technicians, estimators, and administrative staff. • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and professional development. • Operations Management: • Oversee day-to-day roofing operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and project management. • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards and industry regulations. • Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain compliance with safety regulations. • Client Relationship Management: • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, architects, contractors, and property managers. • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and project updates. • Proactively identify opportunities to expand business relationships and pursue new business opportunities. • Financial Management: • Develop and manage branch budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. • Monitor project costs, expenses, and profitability to ensure financial objectives are met. • Implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements to maximize profitability. • Quality Assurance: • Uphold high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout all roofing projects. • Conduct regular site inspections to assess work progress and ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards. • Address any issues or deficiencies promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary. • Market Analysis and Business Development: • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. • Identify growth opportunities and develop strategic plans to expand market share and increase revenue. • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns, generate leads, and secure new business. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). • Proven experience in commercial roofing, with a minimum of 8-15 years in a managerial or leadership role. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower teams to achieve goals. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite. • In-depth knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and best practices. • Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
