As a Commercial Service Plumber, you'll independently diagnose, repair, maintain, and install a wide range of commercial plumbing systems and equipment. You'll utilize various tools, gauges, and measuring equipment, often working autonomously while remaining aligned with supervisor guidance. Key Responsibilities: β€’ System Diagnostics: Accurately diagnose plumbing system performance through keen observation, precise testing, and proper setup. β€’ Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Expertly disassemble and reassemble commercial plumbing equipment to perform thorough troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. β€’ Precision Work: Skillfully operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to deliver top-tier service on equipment and mechanical systems. β€’ Communication & Documentation: Effectively give and receive written and verbal instructions. You'll meticulously complete work orders, task lists, and other necessary documents to verify work performed, ensuring compliance with customer requirements. β€’ Invoicing & Materials: Accurately document invoicing data based on hours worked and materials/equipment used. You'll also be responsible for purchasing materials and issuing purchase order numbers to suppliers. β€’ Field Operations: Safely operate a commercial vehicle and trailer, traveling to customer locations in the greater service area. What You'll Bring: β€’ Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience of commercial plumbing service. β€’ Licensure: A valid Journeyman Plumber's License is required. β€’ Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated high-level proficiency and competency in diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems and equipment. β€’ Code & Safety Knowledge: Thorough understanding of plumbing codes and strict adherence to OSHA requirements and safe work practices. β€’ Physical Stamina: Ability to skillfully work with both hands constantly. You can independently lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds routinely, 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally. You're comfortable climbing ladders and maintaining balance, as well as kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, fingering, grasping, and feeling on a constant and repetitive basis. You can stand, walk, talk, see (20/20 vision naturally or corrected), hear within normal range, and perform repetitive motion activities. β€’ Environmental Adaptability: Ability to tolerate extreme environmental conditions, including heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust, poor ventilation, gases, and oils. β€’ Autonomy & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to work independently, manage pressure, and identify customer needs to provide effective solutions without close supervision.
