Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Commodity Manager Indirect located in Guadalajara, North .

Reporting to the Director, Commodity Management Indirect, t he Commodity Manager Indirect will be responsible for overseeing the Indirect Procurement commodities in Flex manufacturing facilities and lead integration of procurement systems ensuring the alignment of processes, technology, and people. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, and show exemplary commitment to Flex Global Procurement and related policies.

What a typical day looks like:

• Work closely with regional and global leadership to develop strategies that will drive synergistic savings.
• Analyze procurement processes and streamline them across different sub-organizations.
• Work closely with IT, procurement, and finance teams to understand procurement data and system specifications.
• Oversee the integration of data across procurement systems ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Implement and communicate strategic and preferred commodity plans designed to meet site performance goals.
• Meet or exceed published cost reduction goals with agreed-to time frames, establish long-term relationships that benefit Flex worldwide.
• Monitor current market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply-demand challenges.
• Work with site purchasing managers to develop the scope of work for services to optimize project costs by implementing approved quotation process.
• Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex estimating and/or procurement assignments.
• Work closely with regional leadership and with site NPP and MRO teams to develop strategies that will drive synergies savings across the sites.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, project management, or system implementation.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and systems.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Coupa and Suplari platforms will be preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and trends.
