We are seeking a dynamic Communications Specialist to join Stryker's Corporate Communications team. This role is primarily focused on supporting global employee communications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating and implementing communications that build understanding, inspire, and drive deeper engagement for employees.

What you will do:

• Assist in the development and execution of Stryker's global employee communications editorial strategy and plan.
• Collaborate with teams across functions, regions, and commercial divisions to identify story ideas that support global editorial content pillars.
• Research, write and edit compelling content for employees in alignment with global editorial pillars.
• Provide strategic counsel to ensure the right messages are delivered through the right channels, at the right time, and to the right audiences.
• Publish and maintain content across Stryker's global communications channels, including company intranet, internal social media, newsletters, email, digital TV displays, etc.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate new technologies to enhance communication effectiveness.
• Aid in the development and execution of strategic communications plans.
• Manage additional company-level information and materials.
• Support special projects as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences through a variety of platforms (1-2 years' experience preferred in internal communications or related role).
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with keen eye for detail (writing samples will be requested, knowledge of AP Style a plus).
• Familiarity with communication tools and platforms a plus (SharePoint, Viva Engage, Marketo or other email marketing tools, etc.)
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office 365 applications.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0+ years of work experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field preferred.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with eye for detail (writing samples will be requested, knowledge of AP Style a plus).
