• This Candidate is responsible for defining and maintaining the structure of the solution and ensuring that it will meet the requirements
• Create high-level designs, detail level designs, maintaining product roadmaps which includes both modernization and leveraging cloud solutions, product technical debt, and mentorship.
• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all network software and communication links.
• Analyze and resolve software program and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Assist in system design, development and implementation.
• Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.
• Will ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users.
• Help the team to work together in an agile fashion, to jointly own the solution, and to interface well with other parts of the organization
• Manage the day-to-day operations by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance. and repair.
• Ensure that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained.
• Diagnose and recommend fixes to problems or potential problems with the network and its hardware, software, and systems.
• Ensure the stable operation of the computer software systems and network connections.

• The ZOS Solution Architect would need to have at least 10+ years of IT experience.
• 10+ years of infrastructure system administration experience in a large z/OS Db2 enterprise environment
• Experience on version upgrades for ZOS.
• Experience on migration from ZOS on to LUW preferred.
• Experience with Classic CDC and Infosphere CDC on DB2 ZOS and IMS is required
• Experience with Migration from DB2 LUW to Mainframes and Vice Versa is must.
• Experience on IMS is required
• Day to day experience in building and supporting z/OS systems.
• Demonstrated strength in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Skills to deal with audit requirements, providing artifacts from the z/OS environment.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Experience on DB2 ZOS Modernization is preferred.
• Linux, AIX, Windows server administration experience preferred.
• IBM z/OS Mainframe Practitioner Professional Certificate preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
