Computed Tomography Technologist ‐ (CT Tech)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D Pay Rate: $2277.00 ‐ $2624.00
Mountain Communities Healthcare District is a very small hospital in a very rural town. We have a 4 bed Emergency Room, no ICU, no trauma center. Our Radiology Dept. services our Emergency Room, our 10 bed Medical/Surgical floor and our out patient needs. We only schedule staff on day shift Monday through Friday. However, we need someone that can share on call responsibilities with our other two Radiologic Technologist on evenings and weekends. ? Understands and performs the duties of a Radiologic Technologist? Understands the complexities of imaging equipment in all modalities, i.e., radiology and CT? Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational and safety related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patient served? Demonstrates knowledge of positioning patients for optimal resultsGraduate of a Accredited Radiology Program, with Associate of Science Degreeb) Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist Licensure (CRT)c) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) preferredd) Two years experience in an Acute Care setting is preferrede) Experience in at least two modalitiesf) Experience in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility may be substituted for Acute Care experienceg) BLS Certification required

Experience: 2 years
Licenses: RAD‐CA
Certifications: R‐American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; BLS‐AHA
On Call: $3‐ 2 hr min

Graduate of a Accredited Radiology Program, with Associate of Science Degree
e) Experience in at least two modalities
