Belcan is hiring for a Container Flow Analyst in Detroit, MI. This is a full time, direct opportunity with benefits representing Belcan onsite at our large automotive client. Great matching candidates will have either experience and/or degree in Supply Chain or Logistics field. In this job, you will be ensuring that suppliers for our customer have returnable packaging in a timely and efficient manner to meet production demands.

Responsibilities:

* Data and cost analysis to resolve issues and suggest process improvements

* Root causing container shortage issues

* Maintain active relationship with plant material and floor leadership and personnel to aide in resolving issues

* Maintain active relationships with the customers supplier base to ensure effective communication in regard to container flow issues

* Communication and collaboration with customer Containerization HQ and other plant Container Flow Analysts to support problem resolution.

Qualifications:

* Two plus years experience in Supply Chain / Logistics related field and /or equivalent BS degree.

* Proficient with Microsoft Excel; advanced skills desired

* Outstanding collaborator and communicator. Customer service mindset.

* Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Desired but not required skills:

* Knowledge of transportation field and modes

* Experience supporting automotive/supply chain customers and suppliers

* Experience with data and cost analysis

Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $24.00-27.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
