Content Specialist

LaunchSquad is known for building brands from scratch. Together we create public relations programs for innovative startup and mid-stage technology, consumer lifestyle and media companies like Waabi, Climeworks, and On Running. We are looking for a storyteller to join our team. LaunchSquad is working in a flexible, hybrid environment. We are open to remote work candidates for this opportunity.

LaunchSquad’s content studio is looking for a talented writer and editor to help our team develop and produce custom content programs for emerging and established brands. 

The ideal candidate will have work experience as a writer and editor with the ability to toggle between long-form articles and short blog posts, snappy social copy and traditional content marketing formats. They should also have impeccable relationship management skills, the ability to manage multiple assignments to deadline independently and a knack for anticipating what’s next. 

Our clients are in a variety of b2b and deep tech industries. We’re looking for someone who is familiar and interested in b2b and tech-focused storytelling. Someone that can be successful in this role has the ability to translate complex subjects into understandable concepts and language. They should have a mix of experience in both media and branded content writing, news articles, technical blogs, newsletters, white papers, e-books, social media posts, podcast scripts, presentations, and other strategic content across multiple mediums.

Requirements

• 3+ years of editorial production experience at an agency, publication or brand
• Unassailable writing and editing skills
• Ability to grow and manage an external network of writers, experts and contributors within niche markets/subject matters
• Relationship management or customer service experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment working on multiple concurrent assignments
• Passion for storytelling, writing and editing
• A strong writing portfolio across a diversity of mediums

Salary & Benefits

• Content Specialists are salary, exempt employees and the salary range is $60,000 - $75,000

LaunchSquad Vaccination Policy
