Job Description

We are looking for a Controller (all genders) to join us on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. You will be working in close collaboration with stakeholders both in the regional team in Berlin and the local country finance teams. Leveraging insights from variance analysis to topline metrics, you will be building and maintaining a strong bridge between business and finance to enhance decision making for the region.

Your mission:

Oversee financials of smaller entities in Europe:

• You will perform month end closing reviews of selected smaller entities and prepare variance analysis; additionally you oversee core finance processes (e.g. Order2Cash)

• You will further develop and manage the accrual reporting processes to ensure accurate reporting, with aim to eliminate hikes & overspends in following months for these entities

• You will be an integrated part of the Europe finance team with clear deliverables in core processes such as month-end closing, forecasting and budgeting

• You will prepare calculations and assumptions to support business case decisions and ensure reflection in financials

Become subject matter expert for selected domains in Delivery Hero Europe’s Financial Statements:

• You will manage the Intercompany cost recharging process for local, regional and central transactions: This includes calculation of allocation keys and timely and accurate recharges of accruals and actual costs as well as support forward looking modelling

• You will regularly share your insights with Pandora management and engage with all levels of central and local stakeholders of the organisation

• You will support to improve and harmonise the process of the financial reporting in your domains across countries

What you bring to the table:

• You studied business economics/administration with a focus on Business/Finance (preferably a Master’s degree or equivalent)

• 2-4 years of work experience in the field of Controlling/Finance

• Strong business partnering / stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint or equivalent google suite

• Natural curiosity, passionate about learning and a desire to understand the business

• Intercultural: collaborative, able to work with diverse groups of people from different countries

• Hands-on team player with advanced communication skills, verbally and written with fluency in English (our working language)

• Experience with any of SAP, Anaplan or OneStream is a plus

• Familiarity with Google Big Query or SQL is a plus
