Job Description

Ibotta is seeking a Corporate Finance Intern to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. As a participant in our 2023 Summer Internship, you will have the opportunity to fully integrate with your team to directly contribute to ongoing Ibotta business initiatives. In addition to the daily time with your team, you participate in ongoing teach outs curated to help build skills essential to transitioning into the workforce and building your career. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn, excited to work on real-world business challenges, and want to be part of a mission-driven company. 

This will be a full-time, 12 week, internship during the summer of 2023. This position is located in Denver, Colorado with the option of full-time remote. Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop financial models and strong analytical skills

  • Drive deeper understanding of company performance, strategic initiatives, and valuation

  • Lead and manage projects from start to finish

  • Influence outcomes across internal, external and cross-functional teams

  • Develop personally and professionally in a learning centered culture

What we are looking for:

  • Juniors working towards a bachelor’s degree with a focus in finance, economics, business analytics, statistics, or another related major

  • Proven ability to think creatively and implement ideas from start to finish

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Hunger to learn and collaborate with your teammates

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, conditional formatting, etc.)

  • Advanced Presentation and Microsoft PowerPoint skills

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational/project-management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and change in a dynamic business environment

  • Experience managing time and resources to drive toward a goal

  • Proven capacity in building relationships within diverse organizational areas

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Additional Details:

  • This position is located in Denver, CO or with the option of full-time remote and includes competitive pay.

  • The hourly compensation for this role is: $19.00 per hour worked. This compensation is specific only to Colorado.
