Role at a Glance

The Senior Director of Corporate Marketing oversees global corporate communications including public media and analyst relations, thought leadership, content, brand, design, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. This person will set an inspiring vision for corporate marketing, leading, coaching, and developing a team of high-performance employees, contractors, and agency resources to achieve company and marketing objectives. 


Responsibilities

  • Direct all corporate communications, including public, media, and analyst relations; executive communications and thought leadership; and brand communications.
  • Create a strategic branding and communications plan, and establish and amplify Paystand’s brand position with differentiated campaigns and tactics. 
  • Communicate a unified brand story, and ensure a consistent, best-in-class experience across all internal and external audiences.
  • Develop and maintain a compelling narrative, corporate positioning and messaging architecture, and guidelines to position Paystand as a disruptor and leader in the B2B payment space
  • Oversee and engage in public and media relations program execution, managing internal and external resources. Engage industry analysts and influencers to write research reports and white papers with Paustand positioned as a disruptor and leader for B2B payments.
  • Oversee, draft, edit and gain approvals for customer announcements, press releases, case studies, video testimonials, speaking opps, quotes, logo usage and more to highlight the advantages of the Paystand solutions.
  • Create a diverse, high performance team environment that inspires pride, retains and motivates employees, and attracts new top talent.
  • Build and evolve a customer success reference program.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years of experience in a senior leadership marketing or communications role in a software or SaaS company.
  • Ability to think outside of the box and find creative and unorthodox program solutions that give the brand its edge.
  • Able to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner, be self-motivated and proactive, and display composure and calmness under stress and uncertainty while inspiring the same in others.
  • Successful track record building B2B content programs that increase brand awareness, drive growth and provide value to the target audiences.
  • Executive presence. Seasoned at managing multiple stakeholders’ inputs and ability to make executive decisions that put the effectiveness of content first and foremost, using data to inform sound judgment.
