Optimizing Costs: Analyzing cost variances and determining root causes will enable you to recommend improvements, optimizing costs and enhancing profitability.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Identifying data analysis needs and working with departments to obtain data will support informed, strategic decision-making.
Strategic Recommendations: Preparing analysis and drafting materials for management will provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations.
Supporting Supply Chain Efficiency: Conducting planning, forecasting, and reporting activities for inventory management will ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Mentoring and Development: Coaching less experienced Cost Analysts will contribute to their professional growth and the overall capability of the finance team.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
Additional Details:
Product costings (new product, when quoting existing product ensuring updated costs)
Annual standard cost setting
Transfer pricing updates and maintaining COMS (a configurable pricing application/database)
PPV (piece price variance) analysis and material savings tracking
DMV (direct material variance) analysis
Inventory Management
Partner with the Upfit sites to implement strong inventory controls
Implement a robust and accurate cycle count program
Work Order management - Understanding all open work orders, analyzing changes and aging to make sure we don't have unnecessary cost building on the balance sheet
Excess & Obsolete - Fully managing and understanding the manufacturing sites E&O calculation and working with the business to understand risk outside of that calculation
Compensation
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
