The Manager, Customer Data Platform (CDP) will manage the day-to-day operations of Harbor Freight's marketing technology stack and CDP. As the day-to-day operational lead for our CDP, the Manager, CDP will lead the execution of our cross-channel advertising and marketing campaigns in our CDP, spanning across channels including email, text messaging, digital advertising, social media, mobile app, and landing pages. The Manager, CDP will also serve as the day-to-day contact for our Marketing department's partnerships with third-party marketing technology vendors, as well as the day-to-day point of contact between the Marketing department and other Harbor Freight departments on MarTech initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- As the day-to-day operational lead for the CDP, program, deploy, and monitor cross-channel campaigns involving marketing technology, including our CDP, on channels including email, text messaging (SMS), digital advertising, mobile app, and social media.
- Manage the day-to-day partnerships with our Marketing department's technology vendors, including the day-to-day operations, payment, and communication with the selected vendors.
- Working under the direction of Marketing team members, meet with Merchandising, IT, and e-commerce teams as needed to understand evolving customer and product marketing objectives and operational requirements relative to our marketing technology and the CDP.
- Participate in internal discussions and vendor discussions to identify technology to advance our digital marketing, email marketing, mobile app, and text messaging reach, audience segmentation, journey implementation, and content automation.
- Meet regularly with IT to review our Marketing IT roadmap, collect business requirements, and ensure on-time and accurate delivery of planned MarTech solutions.
- Meet regularly with the software developers within the Marketing department and at our vendor partners, including development cycle planning and project management.

Requirements
Job Qualifications - Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience with consumer-facing technology implementations preferred
- Experience with CRM systems, email service providers, mobile app technology, and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) preferred
- Experience with first party data collection and management preferred
- Experience with digital advertising preferred
- Experience in participating in the deployment process of consumer-facing technology preferred
Job Qualifications- Skills
- Experience with the day-to-day execution of campaigns in digital marketing, digital content, and/or digital advertising
- Experience with vendor relationships
- Excellent team leadership, planning, and execution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and lead project teams/resources operating in multiple departments
Physical Requirements
General office environment requiring ability to:
- stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
- speak and listen to others in person and over the phone
- use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports
- lift up to 15 lbs.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $97,500- $146,300 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
