Job Description
We are excited to offer this position within the Quickbase Customer Solutions Team (CST). The CST is a dedicated team of professionals with a singular purpose; to create fantastic prebuilt solutions on the Quickbase platform that will deliver rapid value to our customers and prospects alike. With Quickbase the sky is the limit, and we are building and curating a growing collection of vertically aligned Solutions to meet the burgeoning demand for affordable, stable, high-performance cloud-based NoCode solutions to support what we like to call "Dynamic Work Management"
The Role
The Customer Solutions Architect (CSA) serves as the senior technical resource for the Customer Solutions Team. You will work closely with our Product Teams, Vertical SMEs, Portfolio Managers and Solution Engineers, as a trusted advisor and ensure they build secure, scalable, integrated solutions that represent the best practices in Quickbase application development and align with Quickbase vertical business objectives.
In addition, the CSA will help set the standards for Quality, SDLC and Technical Documentation that our Quality Engineers will inspect against to ensure we release high performance Solutions that provide our customers with an excellent User Experience (UX).
Lastly, the CSA will work with the Advanced Solutions Services team to use plug-ins and code as needed to extend our Solution functionality and competitiveness.
Problem solving and communication skills paired with technical aptitude will be the key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
· Assess business requirements and provide solution architecture guidance
· Assist Solution Engineers with integration needs via Quickbase Pipelines (iPaaS) and RESTful APIs
· Work with the Coding team to assist with advance application extensions (javascript, html, css)
· Review 3rd-party API specifications, and implement prototype integrations consuming those APIs using iPaaS technologies
· Act as the primary liaison between Product and the CST to ensure features are prioritized for both teams.
· Work with product teams and identify opportunities for platform enhancement and defect remediation
· Analyze solutions and identify performance, scale, and integration optimizations
· Liaison with the Solution Architect Services Team to interlock regarding best practices in Quickbase Architectural and Integration standards.
· Build functional prototypes to demonstrate solution possibilities
· Educate and mentor expanded team members with technical guidance
· Develop the Build and Technical Documentation Standards
· Manage the Quality Engineering staff
Technical experience
· Background designing and implementing relational databases, with an emphasis on data modeling
· 5+ years consulting, designing, or implementing SaaS solutions
· 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (solution consulting, sales engineering, solution architecture, etc.)
· 5+ year Quickbase experience
· Experience working with RESTful web services
· Experience with modern programming languages (e.g. node.js, python)
· Experience with modern SDLC and ALM best practices
Education
A Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Business, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering or related field or equivalent work or military experience preferred.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to distill complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
· Demonstrated leadership in project management, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
· Robust technical and business acumen, with the capacity to engage confidently with senior business and technical leaders, influencing decision-making processes.
· Agility and adaptability in learning and applying new technologies and methodologies, with a commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
· Strong collaborative skills, with a track record of effective teamwork and the ability to work well with internal teams and external partners or stakeholders.
· General working knowledge of object-oriented programming and scripting languages (JavaScript, Node.JS, React.JS, jQuery, .NET)
· Experience with manufacturing and construction industries is a plus but not required
