As part of TSG, our Enterprise Capacity Management, Data Center & Operations team is

• Deliver the critical technology capacity that power the bank's systems
• Provide industry-leading technologies for timely execution of mission critical processing and secure exchange of data with Clients
• Operate the Bank's Global Data Centers 24x7x365 with highest service Resiliency and stability

The Role

In execution of our goals the candidate will need to ingest, analyse, speak on demand data that has been collected by our Service Now demand forecast tool for the entire bank. They will need to understand the data and be able to manipulate it in such a way that other teams and executives can understand it. The candidate will also need to help plan for and drive through to execution infrastructure order recommendations based on this data. Strong data skills along with knowledge of IT infrastructure and the ability to speak in an improve but authoritative nature on this data will be expected

Key Responsibilities:

• Significant data analysis and reporting of infrastructure hardware forecasts
• Financial recording, tracking & reconciliation of various LOB forecasts and budget allotments
• Attend meetings with various business stakeholders to discuss their forecasted needs
• Collaborate with various TSG stakeholders to help decipher and qualify business hardware forecasts
• Demand & Capacity Management continual process improvement through recommendations and execution

Qualifications

• Data manipulation - Advanced excel with knowledge of custom pivots, macro processing, embedded references to other sheets, ODBC connections
• Report generation - Advanced Excel, Tableau, Business Objects, ODBC for data connections, MS SharePoint, PS database
• Understanding of lean application development and application lifecycle
• Advanced presentation skills, ability to duplicate presentations with embedded data seamlessly once templates are created. Able to create a narrative based on data. Telling a story and not just pasting numbers on a slide
• Strong infrastructure knowledge, preferably from a Operations or Engineering background. Requirements for building infrastructures based on VMWare, containers, windows, Linux, DB platforms

Preferred:

• Financial background, planning, budget cycles, emergency exceptions, P&L, OPEX, CAPEX
• Executive briefing and ability to speak and drive meeting outcomes.
• Datacentre facilities knowledge, cabinets, cabling, redundancy best practices, various operating modes
• Networking infrastructure knowledge, switches, routers, firewalls
