The primary purpose of the job is to:

The Network Report Analyst is responsible for extracting, manipulating, and evaluating the accuracy of Pharmacy data from various sources to generate reports for new and existing lines of business. This position is responsible for the following deliverables: Pharmacy Network Adequacy Reports, Pharmacy Directories, Pharmacy Related Statutory Reporting, Pharmacy Data Cleaning Validations for new and existing lines of business, and other variable routine and ad hoc systems data pulls/analysis.

Other accountabilities:

• Understands multiple backend Pharmacy data sources (e.g., NCPDP, PRIMA, NPPES, PMNS, corporate vendor-obtained sources, and other External Regulatory data files) for the purposes of writing queries, developing reports as well as designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining business solutions.
• Interprets Pharmacy data using various techniques, from data aggregation to complex data mining.
• Analyzes Pharmacy data files received from joint venture partners to evaluate issues and usefulness.
• Coordinates with technical resources from joint venture partners and other internal resources to address and resolve data questions and anomalies.
• Creates technical specifications for routine, recurring, and ad-hoc reports.
• Assures the accuracy and validity of data and reports through a validation process to cross-reference output and source data; identifies Pharmacy data gaps/anomalies and provides recommended solutions to the business owner.

Education & Experience:

• High School/GED required.
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred.
• Business process and quality improvement understanding
• Ability to plan, organize, and handle multiple tasks in minimal timeframes and with limited supervision required
• 3 to 5 years of statistical analysis and complex data mining, including simple data aggregation, basic report preparation, layout, and design
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Prior Microsoft Access experience is a requirement.
• Must have experience with Python, understanding of Python's syntax, data types (integers, strings, lists, dictionaries, etc.), control structures (if statements, loops), functions, and modules, and proficiency in writing clean and efficient Python code. Familiarity with common Python libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, pandas, SQLAlchemy, SciPy, xlsxwriter etc.
• Oracle database management systems, and Structured Query Language (SQL) preferred.
