Data Engineering, Visualization and Automation Lead, Market Intelligence

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience gathering technical and financial data to promote products, services, and solutions.
• 6 years of experience analyzing and applying industry, market, and organizational information to strategies and plans.
• Experience converting business requests into technical requirements for insightful data products.
• Experience working with cross functional stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA, Master's degree, or advanced degree in a technical or scientific field of study.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Go, Javascript, or HTML for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
• Experience with the consumer electronics, technology, and online consumer services industries.
• Experience with code reviews, version controlling, and bug tracking tools.

The Platforms and Devices (PandD) Market Intelligence team is a part of the PandD Central Strategy team, which sits at the center of the Product Area and helps drive the cohesive product and business strategy. This team's mission is to equip the entire Platform and Devices Product Area with the most accurate, timely, and insightful market intelligence data, reporting, and analysis, enabling better decision making and advanced business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain interactive Looker dashboards to provide stakeholders with actionable insights. Develop and deliver automated, slide-based reporting solutions that effectively communicate key findings and trends.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all PandD Market Intelligence data and reporting, encompassing both first-party and third-party data sources.
• Oversee the Market Intelligence HUB website, ensuring it serves as an effective platform for stakeholders to access insights and reporting.
• Lead the exploration and implementation of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLMs) technologies to enhance business intelligence reporting.
• Collaborate with Google's partner teams, manage the design, construction, and maintenance of robust and scalableExtract Transform and Load(ETL) pipelines, ensuring data integrity and efficiency. Develop and implement data quality assurance measures to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of data assets.
