Data Librarian (Notional)

Location 

Multiple Locations. 

McAllen, TX; San Antonio, TX 

Clearance Level 

T2 – Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT)  

Primary Function 

The Data Librarian is responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and preserving data from various sources and formats. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the transportation services for Unaccompanied Children (UC) and Family Units (FAMU).

Responsibilities 

• Manages day-to-day program coordination and administrative requirements.  

• Supports administrative tasks critical to efficient, compliant operations and effective data management.  

• Other duties as assigned to support Program Manager and Site Manager.  

Job Requirements 

• Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (an associate degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, or more than four years of related experience may be substituted for a degree).  

• Have at least two years or more of documented experience in a field related to business administration, statistics, data analysis, data management or similar occupational area; and ( a minimum of four years of experience is required when an associate’s degree with two or more years of relevant experience is substituted for a bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience in a related field when four years of experience is substituted for a degree).  

• Demonstrate experience applicable to the goals and objectives of this requirement and appropriate for a similar program environment.  

• Clean criminal background check, a favorable credit check, and no prior drug use. 

• Psychological, honesty/integrity validation pre-employment screening and annual re-screening.  

• Must be proficient in English; able to receive and understand detailed information through oral and written communication. 

• Must be proficient with computers, common office equipment, and MS Office suite.

• Demonstrate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. 

• Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations. 

• Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills. 

• Must be able to work full time hours, weekends, and holidays. 

• Must be at least 21 years of age. 

• Must be a US citizen. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• ORR or ICE experience 

• CPR/First Aid certification 

• Bilingual  

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions 

• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time in an office environment.
