The Role:
Digible, Inc. is looking for a Data Manager to join our team!Â
We seek an experienced business-oriented leader with a passion for data and analysis who has seen the impact of effective data practices on company strategy. The role requires hands-on leadership necessary to grow a team through the growth phase into the maturity phase, and the ability to lead through influence across the organization.Â
This leader is responsible for all aspects of Data from the ground up across Data Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics Engineering. They direct and oversee the design and development of systems used for managing data such as data warehouses, transformation pipelines, and other business intelligence systems.Â
They must be effective at communicating across the organization, driving best practices, and building high-trust relationships while managing a remote, geographically dispersed team.Â

What you’ll do:
- Understand the business and product strategy and align your team's work and roadmap to achieve high impact results.Â
- Understand your customers and their needs, connecting the work your team does into your customer's problems.Â
- Educate your peers and stakeholders on what's possible with your data platform, helping us all envision a better future.Â
- Lead and manage a team of data engineers, data scientists, and analytics engineers.Â
- Manage your resources and budget.Â
- Manage operational and strategic aspects of data management, especially regarding product development and decision-making.Â
- Ensure a high level of data quality based on regulatory standards.Â
- Ensure a high degree of data and system reliability.Â
- Develop dashboards and metrics to show the status of data governance and quality.Â
- Document technical solutions and data architecture.Â
You should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operation Research, or any other related discipline or equivalent business experience in data engineering or data science
- Experience leading and managing data or software engineers.Â
- Experience developing and managing your team's roadmap.Â
- Experience working cross-departmentally to achieve company goals.Â
- Experience influencing broader company and organizational vision and goals.Â
- Experience managing and successfully delivering projects in scope and on time.Â
- Experience with batch-processing and streaming data pipelines.Â
- Experience with cloud data tools. Examples: DBT, GCP DataFlow, AWS Glue, etc.Â
- Experience working with data warehouses. Examples: Snowflake, Databricks, GCP BigQuery, AWS RedShift, etc.Â
- Experience working with databases, Examples: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.Â

Pay, perks, and such:
- Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000
- 4-Day Work Week (32-hour work week)
