Data Test Lead

Your Role and Responsibilities
​​​​​​This role specializes in testing applications at the data level focusing on ETL Big Data and data-intensive applications it involves building Test Data Management solutions and providing optimized masked and consistent test data on demand. Responsibilities include understanding business requirements designing test scenarios planning and executing tests creating test cases managing test data and reporting outcomes. The role requires deep skills in core and technical testing data handling and various testing tools and methods. It involves close collaboration with Test Managers Database Administrators and Data Owners to define and manage test data strategies throughout the testing phases.

• Develop and implement automated data pipelines for ingesting processing and storing structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate data from various sources using real-time and batch mechanisms and perform transformations to ensure consistency accuracy and reliability.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms to identify and address issues proactively; implement monitoring systems to track data pipeline performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Write code and scripts for automating data processes using languages such as Java Python SQL Spark and Kafka.
• Collaborate with other intelligent data teams and ensure seamless data flow for machine learning and analytics applications.
• Continuously optimize data processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Document data processes system architecture and codebase for knowledge sharing and future reference; keep documentation up-to-date with any changes or enhancements to the data infrastructure.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• +4 years of hands-on experience in data engineering automation or a related field.
• Experience with TFS ALM Jira or any relevant reporting tools.
• Good OOP knowledge and Java language.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau Power BI Cognos).
• Strong understanding of data pipelines and data lifecycle management.
• Experience with on-premise data integration
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English (Written and Spoken).

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• ISTQB certified
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure CP4D) for data processing is a plus.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
