Database Developer

Position Overview: As a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex database solutions using Oracle technologies. You will play a key role in optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and implementing efficient database structures. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the stability and scalability of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code in line with business requirements and best practices.
• Design, implement, and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior team members, and provide technical guidance and expertise.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of database processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in database design, data modeling, and optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, features, and performance tuning.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) would be a plus.
