Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a technology contracting, legal, or sales operations environment.
  • Experience working with non-standard customer contracts, with a focus on tailoring agreements to meet unique business needs.
  • Experience with customers and cross-functional internal business partners.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a role that requires communication with US and Canada based partners.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience developing agreements (e.g., drafting, redlining, discussing agreements) at a technology firm.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

    As a Deal Strategist, you will analyze opportunities, create business agreements, and execute transactions throughout the business cycle. You will serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to Google Cloud's Sales teams in the development and execution of commercial structures for strategic opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Google Cloud's Business team in the development and execution of commercial structures.
    • Support customers both internally and externally, with agreement interpretation, discussions, and administration of Google Cloud's licensing and service agreements.
    • Validate all aspects of agreement packages for accuracy and compliance with Google Cloud's business practices and approval process.
    • Facilitate alignment and communication between Google Cloud's Sales teams, internal stakeholders, various teams, and external customers/partners to promptly resolve business and issues, and foster productive interactions.
