Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Delivery Consultant Intern you will work closely with a Delivery Consultant coach to deliver industry-leading solutions to IBM clients. In this role you will learn and experience how we apply technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery using consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies communication and service orientation skills. As a member of IBM Technology Expert Labs you will be client-focused courageous pragmatic and technical to optimize and trailblaze new solutions that address real business challenges.

• Understanding clients’ main challenges and developing solutions that help them reach true business value by working through the phases of design development integration implementation migration and product support with a sense of urgency.
• Creating and executing agile plans where you are responsible for installing and provisioning assets testing migrating to production and day-two operations.
• Demonstrating a natural bias towards self-motivation curiosity and initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills as you work across the client partner and IBM team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging compelling and influential.
• Registered undergraduate university student (rising Junior or rising Senior)
• B.S. in M.I.S. Business/Communications with a STEM minor Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.
• Hands-on exposure to real-world application of computer science information systems or engineering concepts
• Understanding and experience with at least one programming language design tools or Quantum Computing (e.g. Python Java C/C++)
• Familiar with open architectural design including Kubernetes and Container design database’s structure and data fabric and integrating using API’s and scripting
