Here at ALLO that is what we do by building cities with a new fiber optic utility network to every home and business in our GIG communities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Work across teams and with external contractors to accurately capture tasks and activities necessary for fiber constructionĀ projects
-
Create Projects plans and manage projects non-construction projects such as fiber network design and ensure appropriate permitting is obtained
-
Mentor team members in civil engineering principals and how to perform fiber network design and permitting
-
Work with municipalities to create permit packages for approval
-
Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photography, and other geographic data for consideration in fiber design projects

Work with Allo design team and review current Plant design to understand principles and practices of current Allo fiber design
-
Plan and design FTTH networks following construction and government standards using 3-GIS design software
-
Review āPlaybookā of Allo Design Guidelines used for auto generated fiber design
-
Review auto generated network designs and comment/correct as needed and suggest alternatives to the Allo design guidelines for fringe cases

Assure project permit packages are accurate and sealed with a Professional Engineerās (PEās) signature as required
-
Verify aerial utility attachments comply with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC)
-
Work with utility companies to address comments and facilitate permitting of aerial attachments onto their poles.
Colorado residents: Typical pay range for this role is $90,000-$110,000 annually depending on qualifications.
EDUCATION:
-
Bachelorās degree
-
Registered as a professional engineer
EXPERIENCE:
-
Three years of relevant engineering experience
