ReversingLabs Spectra Intelligence and Analytics team is a group of experts responsible for developing and maintaining distributed systems based on our microservice architecture called Spectra Intelligence.

Our systems boast the following features:

• 550+ high-performance servers
• Processing 60+ million input files per day
• Generating 3+ billion new records every day
• Generating 3+ billion logs per day
• Database with 10^12 records
• Serving 500+ million client requests per day

As a member of our Spectra Intelligence and Analytics team, you will face challenges related to:

• Architecture of distributed systems
• Microservice architecture
• Real-time processing, storing, and reach of large amounts of data

Responsibilities

ReversingLabs is looking for a DevOps Engineer to expand the range of products and services that the company offers. You will be part of the Analytics division and will support software developers, data engineers, and data analysts.

You will address the challenges posed by the architecture of distributed systems. You will work on microservices, processing, logging, storing, and retrieving large amounts of data, scalability, optimization, and development. Your main tasks will be planning, system configuration, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance, all in close collaboration with the development and other teams. You will use Python, Linux, and other open-source tools to deliver the service.

• Experience in working with a GNU/Linux-based OS
• Experience with Python, Bash, or similar scripting language
• Experience in managing clusters of NoSQL and/or SQL databases
• Experience in one or more continuous integration tools (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, etc...)
• Experience with Docker and container management frameworks (Kubernetes, Swarm, ...)
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring software systems (Prometheus, InfluxDB ...)
• Detail-oriented, passionate about building reliable, scalable, observable software with a strong sense of ownership.

Desirable skills

• Experience with MQ systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ... )
• Experience with Puppet, Ansible, or similar automation tools
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code / Configuration as Code technologies such as Terraform 
• Experience with one or more Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
