Digital Analytics Implementation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Analytics Implementation Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will be part of a small team responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and 3rd party tags and tracking pixels across our websites and mobile apps.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital analytics best practices, data quality assurance, and the ability to create comprehensive documentation for both technical and non-technical users.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and troubleshoot GA4 tracking solutions for our website and mobile app, ensuring accurate and consistent data collection.
• Deployment of 3rd party tags and tracking pixels as required by the business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document tracking requirements, aligning with business objectives and KPIs.
• Perform thorough quality assurance (QA) and testing of tracking implementations to ensure accurate data capture and adherence to industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain the event driven data layer across our digital estate based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including implementation guides, data dictionaries, and training materials for both technical and non-technical users.
• Monitor and analyze data to identify potential tracking issues, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, enablement best practices, data privacy legislation and new technologies related to digital data collection.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in digital analytics implementation, specifically with Google Analytics
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Experience with tag management systems, such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, or Adobe Launch.
• Familiarity with mobile app analytics, including Firebase or other relevant platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience working in an agile environment (JIRA/Confluence)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager certification.
• Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Salary Range: $90,900 to $106,900 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
