Digital Card Support Specialist

Responsible for receiving, processing, and tracking debit card disputes Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

• Process and all debit card and Zelle disputes within the Reg E guidelines.

• Processes chargebacks and exceptions on debit card disputes.

• Fraud monitoring.

• Make daily general ledger entries, reconcile, and balance reports.

• Receive, research, and respond to all debit card and related emails.

• Regularly communicates with external and internal clients.

• Daily processes the FIER Report.

• Review, research and process all fraud notifications received from fraud service provider.

• Follow steps to block debit cards that have fraudulent transactions.

• Process and complete all debit card maintenance requests.

• Ensure that all relevant reporting, record keeping, and record retention are following the bank's retention schedule.

• Process the Mass Exchange Report to verify that merchant's refund is credited back to customer.

• Process the Non-Post report to post credit or debit transactions to a customer's account.

• Process POS, ATM, ACH, HELOC, and Zelle disputes within compliance of Regulation E and Nacha Guidelines.

• Order plastics/card stock for branch issuance of EMV Chip Debit Cards.

• Create service tickets to vendor FIS via Client Portal.

• Process month end volume reports.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

• Detail oriented, with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Intermediate computer proficiency.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products.

• Able to research and investigate transactions for commonality in a timely manner.

Industry and Work Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years banking experience preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of debit card environment required.

• Knowledge and experience in banking and/or card payments required.

Academic:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience required.
