Job Description:
The Digital Marketing and Advertising Manager is key in synergizing all end-to-end media and digital strategies to support our core marketing goals. You will lead a team of martech and multimedia marketers by providing them technical and strategic expertise in optimizing our owned digital assets and advertising implementations that is rooted on data. Your scope will include supervision of online and offline media placements, social media and performance marketing, as well as online storefronts to drive business impact.

Over-all paid media and advertising management

Design omnichannel media and advertising strategies alongside various marketing teams, other cross-functional stakeholders and partner agencies to achieve business objectives.

Deliver our awareness, consideration, engagement and lead gen performance metrics, including ad cost efficiencies
Digital marketing and adtech strategy

Provide over-all strategy for Sun Life-owned digital assets, social media channels and adtech tools to deliver optimal experiences for our various target markets, while achieving all defined target metrics.

Work with other local Business Units, Global and Regional offices, as well as external vendors to continuously improve our digital platforms

Ensure proper campaign tagging and set-up, while implementing best practices in SEO and UX designs
Advertising performance and analytics

Analyze performance of all paid media advertising to derive actionable insights that will effectively synergize with our earned, owned and shared media initiatives

Collaborate with other teams within and outside of marketing to identify and apply learnings into our campaigns
Thought leadership

Drive innovations and calculated experimentation on platforms, ad formats and content to continuously improve implementations

Organize opportunities for learning across different teams to stay abreast with latest trends, studies and insights
People Management

Lead and develop a team of martech and multimedia marketers

Reinforce Sun Life’s values and agile ways of working within the team
Preferred skills / Compétences particulières
-
Capable of running and measuring omnichannel media campaigns, which includes digital and traditional ad placements

Experienced in managing and implementing campaigns in digital marketing channels across Web (SEM &SEO), Mobile, Social, Email environments

Digital analytics experience, analytical rigor & strategic thinking ability, with familiarity with web analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics, in addition to social media analytics.

Adept in utilizing adtech tools such as Brandwatch, Marketo, AEM and Salesforce
-
Strong project management skills, who can drive initiatives from conceptualization, launch and optimizations in a cross-functional manner
Qualifications / Compétences
-
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising or any related course.

6+ years experience in digital marketing, omnichannel advertising & communications,
-
Has fulfilled people management roles in the past

Excellent oral and written communication skills
