What you’ll do:
The primary goal of the Director, Digital Distribution role is to oversee and manage new and emerging workers comp distribution channels and identify technologies needed to support insurance distribution partners. As the Business Owner, this position is responsible for guiding the development and implementation of digital needs, tools and processes to support distribution partners. In addition, this role is responsible for developing, managing and driving distribution partner premium growth.
What you can expect:
- Responsible for the research and identification of emerging distribution channels and the business processes, organizational approaches, and technologies needed for customerÂ
- acquisition.
- Collaborate with various internal teams (Marketing, Agency Relations, Finance, Underwriting and Data Science) to gather and evaluate relevant market data and growth opportunities.
- Utilize external market resources through research and relationship building to identify digital tools utilized by independent agents and other distribution channels for the placement of business.
- Develops a deep understanding of the customers and user personas within targeted segments to drive development of a compelling value proposition and required business and technical capabilities.
- Responsible for guiding the implementation of new partnerships, digital systems, tools and processes to support distribution partners.
- Partners with Product, Delivery teams, Business teams and external partners from creation to implementation of tools and processes.
- Design and establish metrics for distribution channel effectiveness.
- Responsible for driving, tracking and reporting on channel growth and unit economics (premium, losses, cost of customer acquisition, operating costs, etc.) of newly implemented partnerships and technologies.
- Serve as primary contact for channel partners and help facilitate working relationships between distribution partnerships and internal teams.Â
- Independently develop and foster quality relationships with channel partners at all levels.
- Make presentations to stakeholders
- Provide stakeholders with analyses and reports and respond to questions and requests
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. Relevant work experience (similar kind of work at a similar level of work as described in the essential duties) may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. Completion of a degree is encouraged and supported.Â
- Five years of professional experience with two years experience in digital distribution of property & casualty insurance required.
- Experience working with agile and digital product management concepts (minimum viable products, experiments, iterative approach) a plus.
- Experience working with modern tools for CRM and business intelligence preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Â
- Possess excellent relationship management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and skill set and the ability to work independently, take the initiative, set priorities, follow through and see tasks through to completion.
- Ability to identify relevant data, trends and develop strategies based upon data.

The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $145,000 - $160,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including your experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
