ROLE SUMMARY:

The Director, FP&A will report directly into the CFO and will lead the FP&A and Strategic Analytics functions as well as be a key business partner to the Direct to Consumer (“DTC”) GM / Chief Digital Officer. They will be responsible for the overall financial integrity and performance for the entire Dollar Shave Club business, including budgeting and reporting.  They will also serve as the finance business partner to the Global DTC and Amazon businesses, including leading strategic initiatives and making resource allocation decisions.  Working closely with Retail Finance, Accounting, DTC and operations, he/she will drive business performance and predictability through financial planning, value-added reporting/analysis, and data-driven decision support. This position will also help drive key strategic projects to help meet financial targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the global omni monthly reporting and forecasting process
• Responsible for Identifying risks and opportunities and recommending strategies to achieve company financial goals (monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-term)
• Ensure consistent monthly, quarterly and annual communication of results, forecasts and action
• plans to the board, executive management, department heads, and other business partners
• Be a key Business Partner to the DTC GM / CDO
• Provide financial guidance and critical thinking on key strategic initiatives working with cross functional teams
• Lead team of analysts to build data requirements, identify key business trends, and unlock actionable insights
• Build deep and trusted partnerships with senior leaders across the organization; provide critical financial perspective and thought leadership for business strategies/decisions and take ownership for execution and delivery
• Develop and mentor a high functioning team
• Drive for harmonization, efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and build a mindset of continuous improvement within the team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experiencing; over 10 years a plus
• Experience with Excel, Tableau (or similar BI tool), and basic SQL a must; Advanced SQL & JDE experience preferred
• Must be a strategic thinker with excellent problem solving skills; highly analytical with effective communication; able to influence senior stakeholders and business partners
• Able to embrace a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Knowledge of DTC methodologies and metrics including Cost per Acquisition (CPA), Long Term Value (LTV), Average Order Value (AOV), Churn, Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), etc. preferred
• Experience in manufacturing and sales across multiple channels (Retail, DTC, International, Amazon, etc.) a plus

POSITION TYPE:

This is a full-time exempt position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is a hybrid role at our Headquarters in Marina Del Rey.

SALARY:

$200,000 - $225,000
