Job Summary
The Director of Human Resources assumes the role of the lead HR partner for the senior leaders of several teams within Comcast Advertising. This key HR leader is responsible for setting direction, embracing and incorporating the Human Resources and Talent strategy set for these organizations. This position has the opportunity to enable Comcast Advertising's business performance through organizational consulting - linking strategy to structure, building transformational change approaches and facilitating complex organizational issues. Responsible for participating in the development of Company and Human Resources objectives, personnel philosophy and strategic planning in relation to personnel programs and trends in Human Resources management. Administers Human Resources policies and procedures as they pertain to all employees within the Company. Provides support and direction to Human Resources administrative staff in regard to Human Resources polices, EEO, wage and salary management, benefits and training. Directs training staff to ensure that all required training programs are completed and documented. Develops Human Resources strategies and implements plans that align with Company and Division business objectives. Provides leadership and direction for team which may include multiple functional areas. Develops and implements strategy for functional area(s). May have responsibility for developing and managing budget.

  • Work with leadership to create a high performing culture focused on open communication, maximizing talent and driving high levels of service to internal and external customers.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to assess organizational design, leadership effectiveness and leadership development needs.
  • Responsible for advising leadership on aligning the workforce with company goals, strategic organizational design, performance and change management, human capital management and development.
  • Provide support, guidance and direction to senior leadership team to achieve business goals and objectives for their respective function.
  • Create an environment that encourages open communication, sharing ideas and best practices and building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Counsels management and employees on disciplinary actions and performance problems.
  • Provides support, direction and coaching for training and development programs.
  • Oversees government, legal and regulatory requirements and/or complaints in various areas.
  • Develops Human Resources strategies for business groups that includes workforce planning, pay-for-performance, talent management, talent acquisition and succession.
  • Partners with senior management to develop strategic HR goals, policies and programs that align with business initiatives.
  • Operates HRIS system(s) to maintain appropriate data integrity.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $151,221.31 - $226,831.97
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
