Position Overview:

The Director, IT Service Delivery Management will serve as the head of the Technology Solutions (IT) Service Delivery Management function. This includes facilitating the identification, definition, and delivery of IT infrastructure and IT business services for existing and new business partners. In this highly visible leadership role, you will be a lead for a cross functional team consisting of business stakeholders and Technology Solutions staff (IT Infrastructure, Service Desk, Cybersecurity, and Technology Delivery). Your team is accountable for building technology relationships as well as guiding day to day operations supporting a dynamic and growing organization. You will ensure adherence to contractual obligations, conform to IT governance standards, identify potential risks, and develop business continuity plans. This role requires understanding the end-to-end technology service catalog, standard IT Service Management frameworks, and business operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their skills to become a trusted partner, consultant and technology generalist for the internal business areas we support. The individual will actively lead the success of the overall IT Service Delivery Management program and provide tactical/operational direction and demand management to enable alignment of business needs with standard IT capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Aligning IT priorities with the business plans and acting as an advisor to the business stakeholders for technology related needs
  • Manage the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of IT Service Delivery Management needs
  • Provide strong, proactive and assertive leadership for IT Service Delivery Management needs
  • Provide solution management and business SME oversight for IT Operations and support teams responsible for a wide array of IT technologies and functions
  • Define, implement improvements, and help meet SLAs
  • Builds and maintains strong business stakeholder relationships and participates in business owner meetings regarding performance to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding overall and day-to-day service delivery
  • Acting as an escalation point for the business stakeholders in case of IT service issues
  • Regularly collecting feedback on satisfaction with key IT services
  • Responsible for the oversight of the technical components of the Managed Service relationship with application vendors
  • Lead the preparation, obtain agreement and follow the IT budgets within the areas of responsibility, in collaboration with IT Business Administration and business partners
  • Ensures that operational teams and subcontractors maintain a clear understanding of the business needs and provides day-to-day advice and support
  • Assist with developing long-term technology roadmap, resource plans, and budgets
  • Drives the simplification and standardization of shared IT services and applications
  • Ensure proper implementation of global standards, policies and systems platforms
  • Promotes the IT organization's capabilities and works to strengthen the business value of the IT organization
  • Establish and provide high-quality, informative written and verbal project communications, including status, dashboards and Service Delivery Management updates
  • Provide leadership and guidance including coaching, mentoring and evaluation with the end goal being optimum performance levels
  • Onboard, coach and develop the team, creating a culture of innovation, collaboration and continual improvement

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent background or experience
  • 10+ years’ overall IT experience with significant experience in global, enterprise corporate IT
  • 5+ years’ experience working within IT Service Delivery Management
  • 2+ years’ experience with global IT deployments and vendor management
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
  • Ability to interface with executives and stakeholders regarding issues of project scope and status
  • Ability to facilitate productive meetings and drive outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, determine appropriate actions and complete projects with minimal direction
  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills
  • Knowledgeable of IT project management, tracking, reporting, and risk/issue mitigation
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills with a results-oriented mindset
  • Strong strategic planning discipline, with experience building and communicating business cases for technology change
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with both business and IT stakeholders and leaders, as well as related IT project and operations teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to assess necessary activities and prioritize for completion of assignments using excellent time management, prioritization skills and work ethic
  • Strong analytical problem-solving ability
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a project team
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
