Position Overview
The Director of Marketing will lead and foster cross-functional teams in the growth of our Kitchenware category. The right candidate will be comfortable managing complex, sku intensive categories, building and executing our go-to-market approach, while ensuring we have the assortment, pricing, media and messaging to compete and win in the market. The right candidate will leverage data and insights to drive recommendations, with a bias for action.
Responsibilities
- Build global brand identity and guidelines for Ninja Kitchenware portfolio
- Own category goals, track performance, and continue to report with Sales, Product Development, and Leadership team on optimizations needed
- Manage existing categories and monitor in market performance and drive action or changes needed to continue to drive on category goals
- Bring new launches to market by developing a marketing plan and executing strategies with cross-functional leads including creative, social, media analytics, sales, and digital
- Oversee the continued refinement and development of all go-to-market communications and product marketing positioning across all consumer touch points (on shelf, online, social, TV, etc)
- Build and execute strategy for all asset and content needs to support marketing launch plans
- Work with sales and category management for sell-in strategy, retailer placement, and channel management across key launches
- Be the category expert: understand price, positioning, competitive landscape and market needs by digesting insights, connect the dots, and effectively summarize conclusions to help better inform roadmap or launch plans
- Communicate and review all commercialization strategies with the executive team, present insights, and recommendations, and align on a path forward

- Ability to connect the dots and think at a holistic and strategic level across the business
- Influencing, conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving.
- Comfortable mining and analyzing data and drawing conclusions
- Project management and ability to manage several projects in parallel, navigating a complex cross-functional matrix
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years of prior Marketing experience required, preferably with direct responsibility for Brand strategy, messaging, and commercialization
- Experience in managing, building, and growing teams
- Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns
- Experience in creative strategy development, advertising and launching new products
- Experience in launching products globally across several different markets
MBA preferred
This is a hybrid role from our Needham MA, Office - must be in office 3x a week
